"Da Han" Coffee Stout
"Da Han" marks the final solar term of winter. Cold winds blow fiercely, and snow continues to blanket the northern regions. "Wine fills the vessels, the golden stove warms with beast coals; during Major Cold, it's best to stay close to the fire, and if there's no urgent matter, do not open the door." Aside from the biting cold and frozen ground, Da Han also heralds the arrival of the Lunar New Year.
In collaboration with Simple Kaffa, Taiwan Head Brewers introduces a special brew for the season. Using two types of coffee beans grown in Taiwan's Alishan region, "Fragrant Longevity" and "Wild Peony," we infuse the brew with a blend of richly roasted malt and the floral and fruity notes of medium to dark roasted Taiwanese coffee beans.Adding to the complexity, we incorporate whey from Lab Man Mano's cheese-making process, resulting in a smooth and sweet finish. "Da Han" coffee stout is a heartfelt New Year's gift meticulously crafted by artisans.
